Society loves to tell women that we need to resign ourselves to less than we deserve. Less success, less money, less time, less happiness, just less. I say that's bullsh*t. I started Selfish Design Co. because I knew the power of women putting themselves first and demanding the life of their dreams would be that much stronger with design that reflected their value.
Each design decision is made on purpose with the goal of supporting the client's ideal life. This is about more than getting a great website; it's about putting your air mask on first so that you aren't pouring from an empty cup. It's about putting yourself first so that you can be successful AF. It's about letting the world see you in all your glory.

I started Selfish Design Co. because I saw the power of strong branding and a strategic website in transforming businesses from chaotic to flourishing - all by taking work off the plate of the business owner. Each design decision is made on purpose with the goal of supporting the client's ideal life. This is about more than getting a great website; it's about putting your air mask on first so that you aren't pouring from an empty cup.

I've been a fierce feminist since I was 16 years old. I always knew that no matter what I did with my life, I was going to dedicate it to empowering women.
I remember being told as a child that I should be prepared to be the rule, not the exception. To accept the adequate, the ordinary, the so-so. To accept less than I desired, less than I deserved.
After trying the 9 to 5 route and being laid off twice from jobs where I was underpaid and far from fulfilled, I realized that I wasn't okay with the adequate anymore.
I wanted a life on my own terms. I wanted purpose, passion, and power. Power over my own life, my own career, my own financial security.
I wanted more for myself. And I knew I wasn't alone.
That's when I decided to start my own business dedicated to my clients' success.
